O sentimento de culpa na obra O mal-estar na cultura (1930)

Resumo

Resumo: Na obra O mal-estar na cultura (1930) Freud dirá, encharcado de ironia, que “a felicidade não estava nos planos da criação”. Usaremos essa afirmação como abertura para a leitura que ele fará do padecimento como condição da vida em sociedade. Passaremos por uma introdução que vincula o mal-estar a O futuro de uma ilusão (1927). Em seguida tocaremos na concepção metapsicológica dos princípios do prazer e desprazer, com o intuito de evidenciar a importância da renúncia no psiquismo. A partir daí, teremos preparado o terreno para a investigação acerca do sentimento de culpa, que passará por Totem e Tabu (1913) rumo a O Mal-estar da cultura (1930), onde exploraremos tal sentimento como vinculado a instância psíquica Supereu.

abstract: In Freud's Civilization and Its Discontents (1930) he will say, drenched in irony, that "happiness was not in the plans of creation." We will use this statement as an opening for the reading he will make of suffering as a condition of life in society. We will go through an introduction that links Civilization and Its Discontents to The Future of an Illusion (1927). Then we will touch on the metapsychological conception of the principles of pleasure and displeasure, in order to highlight the importance of renunciation in the psyche. From there, we will have paved the way for the investigation of the feeling of guilt, which will pass through Totem and Taboo (1913) towards Civilization and Its Discontents (1930), where we will explore this feeling as linked to the psychic instance Superego.
